Snack attack…

So, I love looking online for new snacks to make at home.  I’ll look for toddler friendly snacks and snacks for mama and papa.  I have a couple of requirements: 1. they have to be fairly quick and 2. fairly healthy.

I wanted to change things up and try something new.  I found this easy no-bake snack and wanted share how it went…

What you’ll need:

  • 1 cup Oatmeal, dry
  • 1/3 cup Honey (I used local honey from grocery store)
  • 1/2 cup Peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips, semisweet
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup Coconut flakes, toasted




Mix everything together.  Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty or get the littles involved!  This was the fun part for me.

Roll into 1 inch balls.

Cool in refrigerator for 10-15 min…

and you get these easy no-bake snakes for you and the littles!



They might not look appetizing…but trust me, they are!  Husband tasted…Husband approved.  You can add or subtract any ingredient and make it your own.

Next time I might add dark chocolate and almonds.
